Photo Editing Music

I know I’m not the only one who listens to music while editing photos or driving to a location. What I choose to listen to is based on what kind of feel that I’m going for or expecting to capture.

Perhaps you’re curious of what I listen to or just looking for some new music to listen to. Here’s my list of reliable bands:

Images that are dreamy, bright, warm, or of subjects such as the beach or flowers: Alvvays, Mopac, Slowdive, Sunflower Bean, Shell From Oceanic, and A Beacon School.

Images of epic landscapes: Scale the Summit, Heilung, and If These Trees Could Talk.

City/street photography: Elephant Gym, Tesseract, Spiritbox, Animals as Leaders, and Deftones.

Moody, melancholic, or apocalyptic images: Alluvial, Jeff Loomis, Nevermore, Katatonia, Insomnium, Opeth, Draconian, Cult of Luna, and Ihsahn.

Astronomy and twilight/night images: Fallujah, Cynic, Earthside, sleepmakeswaves, and Lantlos.
